Calum Mackenzie and the crew of the 'Sula Mhor' welcome you to Plockton, 'jewel of the Highlands', and home of Scotland's finest seal trips.  Come and join us on the waters of Loch Carron and experience  a wildlife cruise with a difference, with a unique guarantee-free if no seals.
 
The 'Sula Mhor' sails every day from April to October, with up to four cruises a day from a choice of departure points in the village, depending on the tides and the west coast weather!

Calum has been sailing these waters for over 30 years, nobody knows the seals and dolphins better than him. And they  have got to know him pretty well too!
 
 

Plockton was the mythical home of the Highland Policeman 'Hamish Macbeth', one of the most popular television series of the 90's. Come and see  the scenes made famous in the shows, when Plockton became Loch Dubh, and the adventures of the local 'bobby',  and his wee 'Jock' have amused audiences all over the world.

 

During the peak summer months the 'Sula Mhor' operates evening music cruises that are fast becoming the place to be on a week-day night! And now the Sula Mhor is licensed for wedding ceremonies,  give us a call or see the web-page for further information. And again for 2013 will be evening fishing cruises on the 'Sula Mhor', what better way to enjoy a relaxing, yet  rewarding voyage to catch the one that couldn't get away. 

And whilst you are in Plockton don't forget to visit ' Hidden Treasures', the gift shop on the waterfront, for that special memory of your visit to the 'jewel of the Highlands'. If you are here for a day or two why not hire a canoe or rowing boat and in 2011 we introduced  our fabulous new Peekaboo ocean kayaks, your own glass bottom boat, and see Plockton from above and below the sea!
